Jug Jugg Jeeyo movie review

The makers of Jug Jugg Jeeyo dropped the caravan of the film on Sunday. Starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the supereminent places, the film brings a twist to the usual theme of family impersonators. With the first regard of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, we feel like we’ve entered into a big fat Punjabi marriage. Too numerous people, too many glam, bottom-tapping cotillion tracks, and happy vibes. Still, not everything is happy in this world of Karan Johar’s product adventure.

We’ve heard of comedy-of- crimes, dramedies but Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a ‘divorce comedy’. Varun and Kiara are in an evil marriage and want a separation. But Varun’s character learns that indeed his father (Anil Kapoor) wants to break his marriage with his woman (Neetu Kapoor). Varun also meets Anil’s character’s gal, played by Tisca Chopra. In the caravan, one also sees Neetu Kapoor opining about how a broken marriage is a result of numerous tired and untreated quarrels between couples. So far, it looks like Jug Jugg Jeeyo is an ultramodern, crooked take of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a “family reunion”

Introducing the film, Karan Johar had before mentioned how Jug Jugg Jeeyo is a “family reunion you can’t miss.” He said the film is “filled with surprises, feelings and a whole lot of drama.” Anil Kapoor identified his post, “Family reunions be to be my most favorite thing in this whole world, but I go you have no way endured commodity relatively like this bone.” Neetu Kapoor, who’s making her tableware screen comeback with the Raj Mehta managerial, assured that the followership will see casts of their own family in the film. “You’re going to see an entire lot of your clan, in between our jest, chuckle and further,” she said in one of her social media posts.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo marks the remit of Neetu Kapoor to the film sevenfold. She was last seen in Besharam, which featured her late hubby Rishi Kapoor and son- actor Ranbir Kapoor. Before, talking about the film, Neetu Kapoor said that she “made some lovely musketeers … gained confidence, which was so demanded at that time.” She stated that the film will always be special for her.

Varun Dhawan mentioned how he feels like a freshman

Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, mentioned how he feels like a freshman, given it’s his first film after the epidemic. Calling it a long, tough, happy, emotional trip’, he wrote, “My first film back in the theatres after the epidemic. Feel like a freshman.
